Compound is local-first. The chats, documents, images and links you import, and the analysis generated from them, are all stored in your desktop app and never uploaded to our servers. Phone and computer communicate over end-to-end encryption; the relay only forwards encrypted traffic and stores nothing.
① Account info: your registration phone number (for sign-in and membership); ② content you import: stored only on your local devices — we do not collect or upload it; ③ payment info: handled by the payment provider — we never store payment passwords or card numbers.
For sign-in, device pairing, membership, payment processing and troubleshooting. Analysis of your imported content happens on your own devices and never passes through our servers.
We do not sell your personal information. We only share what is necessary with payment providers to complete a payment, or when required by law.
You may view and edit your profile, delete anything on your local devices, and delete your account in the app (Me · Delete account); after deletion we remove information tied to the account.

Compound is "your second brain": feed it everything you chat, read and collect, and it remembers and understands for you. The core runs in the desktop app on your own computer; the phone app is your portable entrance. Using the service means you have read and agreed to these terms.
You register with your phone number. Keep your account and signed-in devices safe; losses caused by your own mishandling are your responsibility. You may delete your account anytime in the app.
Membership is a virtual service activated in the desktop app; the phone unlocks with it. Prices are as shown at the time of purchase. Once activated, the consumed portion of a virtual service is non-refundable except where law mandates otherwise.
The chats, documents and images you import belong to you and are stored on your own computer. We do not obtain or use your content for anything other than analyzing it locally for you.
You agree not to use Compound for any unlawful purpose and not to import others' private data you have no right to process. You are responsible for what you import and its legality.
Insights, promise reminders and briefs are generated by algorithms, may be inaccurate, are for your reference only, and constitute no professional advice. Use your own judgment.
We may update, adjust or suspend the service. If you seriously violate these terms, we may restrict or terminate your access.
